Owner/Instuctor

Marquita Owens is the Owner of The BluPrint Studio, located in the heart of Black Wall Street in Tulsa Oklahoma.  She is a certified Cycling instructor, Sprint8 Coach and Xtreme Hip Hop Instructor. Her love for fitness came after she went on a personal weight loss journey.  The journery wasn't about what she lost but about what she gained.  Nows shes on a mission to help others rebuild their lives one step at at time.

My philosophy is that working out should FUN!  So my classes are an energetic, sweaty dance party,  I believe that putting in that magic time everyday working out, getting stronger, and checking in with your body is what allows us to be our best selves and to get out there in the world to spread some light.  I am an elementary school teacher by day and an amateur rock star slash professional taco eater by night!!  You can expect a soundtrack that will support a lighthearted, playful spirit; including rap, hip hop, throwback pop songs and a little bitta rock n roll.

Making a plan and sticking to it takes commitment. Our certified body architects will help to keep you motivated while you focus on your goals. We have a wide range of training tools and programs such as Cycling, Sprint8, Resistance Training, Xtreme Hip Hop Step Aerobics, Yoga and Core Training. These classes can be personal or group sessions.

CARDIO

Cycling, Sprint8 & Xtreme Hip Hop

~Cycling helps to build muscles and promote weight loss. It is low impact and better on your joints. Cycling is also known to reduce your chances of developing heart disease.

~Sprint8 is an efficient, fat-burning HIIT workout that gives you a complete cardio exercise experience. It's the best exercise for weight loss without working out for hours. Join one of our classes for unique exercises to tighten and strengthen your body.

~Xtreme Hip Hop is a great way to mix up your cardio workout. It is not your traditional step aerobics class. This uptempo class will have your hips moving and feet stepping to the beat.  This type of training works every muscle group.

RESISTANCE TRAINING

It’s More Than Just Lifting Weights!

Are you needing something to mix up your daily routine, while toning that body? Well HITT Bands + Abs is just the class for you. Resistance training is suitable for everyone at any fitness level. It is an excellent workout to mix in with a cardio training program, while you begin a journey to get faster, stronger and healthier.  You will enjoy body-blasting exercises in a short amount of time, that is sure to help speed up that metabolism and tone your body. Remember our bodies are stronger than what we give them credit for. Take advantage of the body’s natural movements. Your BluPrint is waiting.

Core exercise is important because it leads to better balance and stability during your workouts and daily activities. Yoga is great for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Yoga will improve all fitness areas by emphasizing coordination, flexibility, balance and core strength.
